The concept “Ontology of Tremor and Eternity”, within the framework of the exhibition, represents a philosophical structure that examines the very nature of being through two opposing poles.
This concept is based on the tension between the transient (the fly) and the infinite (the diamond). It serves as a metaphor for human nature – our constant struggle between the desire to leave a lasting mark and the awareness of our own impermanence.
The fly symbolizes the fragile life cycle and the human attempt to “capture” nature in its most intense yet fleeting moment. Tremor becomes a symbol of life pulsating between light and shadow.
The diamond, as “eternity,” stands as an archetype of indestructibility and immortality. In this philosophical setting, the diamond is what remains when everything else disappears, representing pure essence and resistance to time.
The filigree network is not merely a technique, but a “living organism” and an invisible thread of fate. It acts as an ontological bridge that connects and balances these two worlds, transforming them from separate entities into a unified, harmonious whole.
Within the scenography, darkness serves as a canvas upon which light becomes the sole source of meaning. Directed beams make the works appear as “floating relics of time,” emphasizing a sense of metaphysical presence.
This concept invites the audience to an inner reflection – to consider where we stand within that space between lure and preciousness.
Special guests of this one-day show, featuring a musical performance, are Yordan Kostov, Yaping Wang, and Francois Mellan.
The exhibition will be opened by the professor Ilina Jakimovska ( https://www.linkedin.com/in/ilina-jakimovska-3b22292b7/ )

MAMKA is a contemporary brand that fuses artistic innovation with cultural heritage through the interdisciplinary practices of the filigree technique. MAMKA redefines jewelry as a medium for storytelling and cultural expression, blending tradition with modern aesthetics. The brand draws inspiration from the revival of the ancient Macedonian fly, the earliest artificial fly used for fishing. MAMKA transforms this symbol of survival into intricate wearable art that reflects the essence of existence. By merging filigree craftsmanship with modern design, MAMKA creates jewelry that interweaves history, art, and cultural narrative.
